OUR RECENT INITIAVES

Working with local blind school
Invited to lead a two-week financial literacy program at the Blind School of Patiala. Taught key concepts in economics and personal finance through audio-based lessons. Empowered visually impaired students to build confidence in financial decision-making.

Worked with Hidden Voices
Collaborated with Hidden Voices, a nonprofit supporting visually impaired communities. Helped expand EconReads’ reach by integrating audio-based economics education into their programs. Supported students in gaining accessible learning opportunities in financial literacy and economics.

Awareness campaign
This summer, we launched an awareness campaign to promote accessible education for the visually impaired, distributing thousands of leaflets across schools and communities. Through these efforts, we were able to raise $3,500 in funds for a local blind school and initiated a petition to increase the number of schools offering support for visually impaired students. The petition gained over 5,000 signatures and ultimately caught the attention of a local government minister with plans to further discuss them in parliament.
